Well, it’s been awhile since I’ve posted, but we’ve been busy! Mylee is back in agility training and we made some changes with puppies. We decided to keep Rowdie since we were all so attached to each other. Liza, who is now Lucy, will be moving to Alaska to live with Therese and Eric and her poodle brother Leo! They are so excited to get their new addition home at Christmas time. Our little black Lucy Lou Jean is happily residing with Jennifer in Kansas City. She is doing awesome and Jennifer wants another puppy now! Pierre’s name has been changed to Pablo Kung Foo Panda and has a fabulous home with Beth and Chris and several other poodle siblings. He is the lovey dovey pup of the bunch. Bear, who has been named Nuppah, has a four year old, two legged sibling named Grant. They spend countless hours making their parents crazy! Congratulations to all of you on the addition of your new family members!

Rowdie will be making her debut in puppy class this week. It will be fun to start her training and see how fast she catches up with her mom! She is very smart and can sit, down and stay (well, we are working on that one!)

After having the pups and settling in with the new puppy, I have decided to sell Harley. He is a great stud dog and produces wonderful puppies. If you are interested in adding him to your breeding program, please contact me.

Puppies are changing so fast

Well, the pups are 4.5 weeks old and are changing so quickly. They are getting their teeth and have started experimenting with puppy food. They just walk through it and slide in it. Such a mess! Then they lick it off each other. Oh what a life! They are totally loving their play time with their daddy and he can’t wait to go and see them every morning. He is so gentle with them. Now that they are moving around, they are losing their baby fat and growing longer legs! Yes, they have started bounding and pouncing…especially on each other. I am thinking it’s time to introduce them to the cat. I’m sure Miss Cassie May will love that!!! Here are some new pictures of them. The black/silver boy is still available if you know anyone looking to add a snuggler into their family.

The puppies will be 3 weeks old on Aug 3rd. Their eyes are wide open and are figuring out how to walk and move around! They try to grab each other with their mouthes. It is amazing how fast they grow and change. All the puppies are sold except for the black/silver boy. He is still looking for a family to love him. Here are pictures of the puppies at 12 days old! Their eyes should be opening soon and I will post more photos then. 3 of the puppies have perspective homes and we are just waiting for them to get a little older for people to make their selections. It is looking like the two black pups will be silvers. Can’t guarantee that, but it is looking like it! Also, the partis may be silver and whites!! I haven’t seen many of them, but they are absolutely beautiful! I’ve learned that it is very difficult to photograph these little wiggle worms. Mylee is never happy when I take one of them and she has to come along and get her nose in the pictures too! When I am done, I swear she goes into the box and “counts” them to make sure I put them all back!!

Black boy has a white chest and white back toes like his mom!

Little parti boy. He has only two black patches on his body.

Here are current pictures of the babies. They had their dew claws and tails done yesterday and all did well. The vet was awesome and gave them all shots to numb the area so they did great! They didn’t seem to have any pain at all yesterday! They are all gaining tons of weight and will be opening their eyes soon!! Keep checking back for updates.

Here is group photo of the pups. They were born July 13th, 2009 from 11:50-2:45 p.m. Yeah! No middle of the night delivery!! Way to go Mylee. Mom and pups are all doing well. They ranged in weight from 4.2-7.1 oz. Yes, that big black boy had a hard time entering the world, but we got him here!! They are all darling.

Mylee’s pups were born today, July 13, 2009!! We have 5 of the most adorable, tiny babies. We have 2 black and white parti girls, 1 solid black girl, 1 black and white parti boy, and one BIG black boy with a white chest and some white toes on his back feet! Yes, he was the one stuck in the birth canal and sent my adrenaline flying into fight or flight mode. Krystal said she is going to call him Bear! However, they are all doing well and happily nursing as we speak. I will get pictures up as soon as possible!! Happy Birthday Puppies!! Thanks to Cheryl for her phone support and Krystal, Joy and Jaime for their help at home while the pups made their grand entrance!

While we are impatiently waiting for the pups to arrive, Harley and I had a photo shoot. He loved the “treats” that went along with taking pictures. The holding still thing, however, was a completely different story…I needed 8 arms!

We went to the vet today and found 5 skeletons on the xrays. We are so excited to know how many babies we will be having this weekend!! We will keep you updated as soon as they are born!

4 parti girls born on July 4th!

Some of the puppies are here!!! My friend, Cheryl, has a little 5 lb. parti girl that was bred to Harley. The puppies were born July 4th!! All Girls!!! There are two black and white and, to our amazement, two apricot and white babies. They are all fat and healthy and will be looking for their forever homes when they are 8 weeks old. If you are interested, give us a shout!! They should be around 5-7 pounds full grown!!
